MANILA HOTEL RESERVATIONS

WHERE TO STAY IN MANILA
As this is the closest district to Ninoy Aquino International Airport and the Domestic Terminal, most travelers choose the bay area for their accommodation needs. The Manila Bay Area is home to more hotels than even Makati City, ranging from budget tourist inns to luxury hotels.

Manila Philippines HotelsMost hotels are clustered in and around Manila’s Ermita and Malate districts. Most hotels line Adriatico and Mabini Streets, the hotspots of Manila Bay’s nightlife and entertainment. In the Adriatico/ Mabini area, travelers with all kinds of budgets will find a nice place to stay. A great budget option is the very new Hostel 1632. The Palm Plaza and Executive Plaza, though older, are good value for mid-range budgets. Travelers seeking more hotel amenities may opt for the Manila Pavilion or the Century Park Hotel. However, if you are looking for luxury and upscale accommodations, then the Hyatt Hotel and Casino and the Pan Pacific Hotel are the hotels of choice.

A nice alternative to this area is Roxas Boulevard, Manila’s coastal highway, which is only a few steps away from Mabini Street. Here, visitors can enjoy the redeveloped Baywalk with its many cafes and bars. Philippine Hotel Reservations Service can recommend several great hotels deals on Roxas Boulevard. On the upper side of the Boulevard are the upscale Diamond Hotel, the famous Manila Hotel, and the great-value Bayview Park Hotel. But nothing comes close to the waterfront as the Sofitel Philippine Plaza which is beautifully set against Manila Bay. It is the only resort hotel in Metro Manila which offers a spectacular pool and garden area, newly renovated rooms, and probably the best breakfast buffet in town. At the center of Roxas Boulevard, you may opt for the brand new and stylish G Hotel and the very affordable Grand Boulevard Hotel. While on the south end, the Traders Hotel and the Heritage Hotel, which are only a few meters away from MOA, come highly recommended.

THINGS TO DO & SEE IN MANILA
Roxas Boulevard, also known as “Dewey Boulevard”, is one of Manila´s best known Landmarks. Along this 10-kilometer bayfront boulevard you will find a plethora of cultural and entertainment sights and activities to choose from. On the south side you can explore the largest mall in the Philippines, third largest in the world -- the SM Mall of Asia (MOA).
Manila BayHeading north, you will see hotels, condominiums and office buildings, museums, airline offices and karaoke bars that line one side of the road, while an animated scene of strollers, joggers, and hawkers can be seen along Manila Bay not to mention the spectacular sunsets everyday.  Along this stretch you will see the many cultural and heritage sights reflective of the Spanish Era…Intramuros, a walled city is the only district of Manila where old Spanish-era influences were retained… like at the Fort Santiago. Much of the development of present-day Manila occurred outside the gates of Intramuros, Here you will also find the Bureau of Immigaration, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP); and the U.S. Embassy and Manila Yacht Club (on the baywalk side).

The bay area is also home to the Philippines’ largest exhibition and expo facilities: World Trade Center, Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) and the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP).
